Google has released a teaser trailer for its eagerly anticipated Pixel 8 series phones, scheduled for a global unveiling on October 4, 2023. The teaser offers a glimpse of the Pixel 8 in an attractive sand pink color, while the Pixel 8 Pro makes an appearance in a sophisticated porcelain white shade. Interestingly, both phones briefly appeared on an official website when Google unintentionally uploaded their 3D renders and shared a marketing render of the Pro model on its online store.

One of the most noticeable design changes is the prominent rounding of corners, which sets the Pixel 8 series apart from its predecessors in the Pixel 7 lineup. The Pixel 8 Pro takes this design evolution further by featuring a single oval-shaped black outline on the camera strip, housing three lenses and even incorporating a temperature sensor beneath the LED flash module.

Under the hood, both phones are set to receive a customary chip upgrade, with the introduction of the Tensor G3 silicon this year. While early leaks suggest the vanilla Pixel 8 might offer incremental improvements, the Pixel 8 Pro is generating significant excitement with its rumored upgrade to a 64-megapixel ultrawide camera. Additionally, there are rumors of an intriguing new feature that eliminates background noise, similar to the way Magic Eraser removes unwanted artifacts from an image.

Excitement doesn’t stop with the Pixel 8 series, as Google’s US store page hints at the imminent arrival of the Pixel Watch 2, teasing, “More help is close at hand. The Google Pixel Watch 2.” The accompanying render showcases a watch design reminiscent of the first-gen Pixel Watch, suggesting that most of the upgrades lie beneath its elegant glass and metal exterior.

Adding to the anticipation, TechDroider has shared an additional video teaser that seemingly unveils the next-gen Pixel Buds Pro. According to 9to5Google, these upcoming noise-canceling earbuds from Google will be available in a Porcelain color option, complementing the Pixel 8 series’ signature hue, as well as a refreshing Sky Blue variant.

However, there’s less thrilling news for potential buyers. Reports from Dealabs and HotUKDeals suggest that the Pixel 8 will have a starting price of €799, representing a €150 increase compared to its predecessor, the Pixel 7. Meanwhile, the Pixel 8 Pro could have a starting price of €1,099, marking a €200 hike over the Pixel 7 Pro.
